The Neo Byzantine Gold Studio in Sag Harbor, NY houses uniquely handcrafted works of art, which are inspired by the techniques of my very own Greek ancestry. Made from silver, 14k, 18k, and 22k gold as well as precious gems, masterfully shaped using a collection of professional tools, these pieces are sure to catch your eye… or even ignite a stronger interest. While there are many pieces to already choose from, I also offer jewelry making classes where you can learn to make jewelry through my instruction, right in my studio.

My shop perfectly preserves ancient techniques while also allowing plenty of room for experimentation, to discover and work with your own preferences and style. From my instruction, you can learn about and practice decorative methods, torching, fabrication, stone setting, molding, and wax carving while using a variety of tools for jewelry making. With this wide range of options, the only limit to what you can create is your imagination!
About Me
I -Eleni Prieston- have maintained my skill and natural passion for jewelry making through 45 years of dedication and practice as a Studio Goldsmith. My hard work over the years has earned me a Gemological Institute of America Graduate Certification in Diamonds. However, my greatest delight on this continuous journey is working with my clients to fuel their passions and bring their own ideas to life.

If you choose to expand your horizons in my jewelry making classes, you may discover an interest in the beauty of wearable arts of the past, or experience a new creative outlet for your interests. While you learn to make jewelry with me, you will go above and beyond in the world of self-expression and individuality. The options are endless. No experience, background knowledge, or particular preferred style is necessary; if you are interested, just schedule a time with me and prepare to have fun learning and creating!
